Michael went above and beyond to make our trip exceptional. I had initially only booked him for the Crabbing Experience Tour, but even before arriving in Cartagena, Michael's professionalism automatically convinced me that he was the guy to help us navigate through Cartagena. I ended up booking him for airport transfers and an additional Cartagena private tour. At the airport, he was texting (via WhatsApp) to check where we were in the immigration line to ensure that the driver would be there to pick us up on time. He arranged for us to be greeted in the baggage claim area by a porter who secured our bags and escorted us outside to meet our driver. He even gave us detailed info about restaurants and assisted in making reservations. When one of our Medellin tours canceled on us at the last minute, I contacted Michael to see if he had any contacts in Medellin. Michael's company is based in Cartagena but I was desperate, thinking it was shot in the dark, but lo and behold, Michael we able to hook us up, not only to make the tour canceled by the other tour company happen, but also to arrange our airport transfers in Medellin. The tour was to a local area in Medellin and within a day, Michael was able to secure an English-speaking driver with a comfortable SUV; per my request, identfy the perfect spot to get great coffee and local breakfast on the countryside (all prepared on a wood fire); charter a boat for a lake cruise; and all other arrangements associated with the visit to El Pelon and Guatape. For all airport transfers and tours, he always sent us the name of the driver and their picture, as well as picture of the vehicle. Throughout our 10 day stay in Colombia, Michael was checking on us almost daily to see if there was anything we needed. It felt like we had a Colombian family member taking care of us. When I booked the Crabbing Tour with Everything Cartagena, I was certainly not expecting all this!! Michael is definitely your go-to person, not only for all things Cartagena, but also for Medellin it seems. PALENQUE TOUR (last minute add-on) I had booked a crabbing tour through All Things Cartagena. A fews days leading up to the trip, Michael contacted me via WhatsApp to provide additional information. He was very friendly and attentive, so much so, that I ended up booking a second tour with him and also arranged airport transfer through him. He maintained communication with me via WhatsApp on a regular basis and was there every step of the way including checking where we were in the immigration line so that the driver would be there on time. John was a great tour guide who took us on two tours. The crabbing was an interesting experience and the Palenque tour was educational. The day before the tour, Michael cautioned us about customary tipping in Palenque and suggested we take money for different people that we'd be interacting with on the Palenque tour, but not did I underestimate the number of people expecting tips. It was overwhelming. The tour was of various places in the community and each stop had 2- 4 persons who interacted with us. John had told us he had brought money for tips "just in case." I'm glad he did, because after the 9th tip (everywhere had a tip jar), I was out of money. Palenque was great and I was honored and humble to be able to support my people, but perhpas there can be some sort of consolidation of tips our atleast a projection of how many spots/persons there would be interaction with.

Really enjoyed the experience provided by everything Cartagena! We went on a crab fishing tour with them and it was the best experience in Cartagena! We also used them for transportation from Cartagena to Santa Marta and it was super pleasant. This is a top tier agency that works with the best. Highly recommend!

This was an amazing trip. We used John as our translator and Pablo as our guide. It was truly a “locals” experience. We started at 7:30 and was picked up from our hotel. We were taken into the mangroves on a small handmade boat. There we stopped and learned to throw the cast net. We caught the bait for our crab traps and set them. We then went to a small island where there were friendly raccoons and an interesting fish farm. We had a drink and danced. Everyone was super friendly. We retrieved our crab and went to a locals home on the beach to have them cooked. We were even invited in to see how they were prepared. I can’t say enough how great this was. This is not a typical excursion and is built for the adventuring type who wants to immerse themselves.

This was such a great experience from start to finish. Michael was so helpful and communicative in coordinating everything from transportation, to a translator, to the event itself and made it very easy for us. The tour itself was incredible, getting to fish, crab, play music at a local fish farm, and enjoy the stories from our fantastic guides John and Paolo. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone else visiting Cartagena!!

Michael’s crabbing adventure exceeded all of our expectations. What I thought would be a fun spectator activity for me and my seven year old son turned out to be a hands on adventure of a lifetime where even the littlest joiners can feel empowered to learn and tackle huge new tasks. My son was catching fish, setting crab traps, pulling the crabs out of the water and even helping in the kitchen when it was time to prepare our crab feast. He was completely stimulated for the entirety of our four hour excursion. There were so many sights, sounds, smells and textures that he could engage with throughout the experience, all age appropriate and educational. We loved the stop on Fisherman’s Island where we were served fresh coconuts and fed giant fish and pet raccoons before playing local drum beats. Our translator John who also served as the guide and our captain Pablo were amazing hosts and the sunset on the beach in Boquilla was the perfect way to end our experience.

We did two excursions with Everything Cartagena and we’re so glad we found them! The crabbing experience and the mud volcano were absolutely amazing! 100% recommended. The Everything Cartagena team is caring, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Our driver and tour guide John was incredible. Always on time and very friendly. We can’t wait to go back to Cartagena and discover more of the beautiful country alongside Everything Cartagena!!

It can be difficult when traveling with so many choices in front of you. I cannot say enough about this tour company. It was like having my own private concierge to food. The recommendations I was given for food and entertainment were spectacular. The dining in The Pascal and Sambal bistro was some of the best food I have ever tasted. Highly recommend Everything Cartagena Tours will definitely use again! Helped me make my reservations on short notice I so appreciate these services.

Everything Cartagena was a great resource for finding things to do during our brief visit to this beautiful city. Michael booked an amazing Gourmet Cooking Class for us, where we learned to cook a few local specialties and then -- the best part -- got to eat them. The instructor was excellent, the food was delicious, and we had a wonderful time. If we'd been in town longer, we definitely would have booked more outings. Michael was so helpful, following up and checking to see if we enjoyed the event. (A big contrast to the other, more corporate, agency we'd attempted to use first. They actually booked us on a cruise that was not currently running and then dragged their feet to refund our payment!) Everything Cartagena has a huge selection of activities to choose from, as well as transportation and accommodations -- have a look at the private mansions! And given that my Spanish is about grade 2 level, it was nice having someone who spoke English to coordinate things for us. I definitely recommend Everything Cartagena to help you plan a stress-free and memorable visit to Cartagena.

OMG! What an experience! I had a BALL on the buggies tour with EC. THE TOUR They heightened the experience by adding a speaker to the buggies which, for me, personalized the tour. We traveled through the city, observed local life. REGISTRATION The process was quick and easy. From calling, to arriving, paperwork and the rules! FOOD (included) Local dish (red fish, rice, plantains & salad). The chicken soup was EVERYTHING! Shrimp on the beach and lemonade! TOUR GUIDE Daniel was knowledgeable, easy-going and considerate of everyone in the group. I must say- the best part of the trip was the "free style" on the beach! Thank you LJ and Jeff!

Excelente!!! Had the best time. I did the ATV beach ride and the Volcano mud pit with my family. Staff was very friendly and kind. Highly recommend!

I met EC the first day of Columbia, within hours he was sending me to the best places to dine and making sure my entourage were in a safe place and being token care. Absolutely use this service!! I spent a month in Cartagena, and didn’t find out about this until the last week, and I wish I had known sooner. Once I found out I reached out and they helped us find the cutest rooftop pool. It was one of the best parts of my trip. 10/10 would recommend.
